Mechanical Technician

Synergi are recruiting for a Mechanical Technician to join a leading FMCG/Food company based in Wellingborough.

This is the chance to join a company who have invested into their site to bring in the latest technology and automation.
Based at their site in Wellingborough, the role will support the performance and efficiency of a site that operate on a 247 basis.

The shift pattern for this position will be days only Monday-Friday.

Key responsibilities will include:

Continued development and improvements of procedures and systems
Being proactive in your approach to maintenance tasks and monitoring, ensuring all documentation is kept up to date and accurate
Ensuring site standards are upheld with the ability to confidently manage contractor's and the associated paperwork

Person Specification:

ONC/HNC or equivalent recognised apprenticeship in electrical and/or mechanical engineering
Working knowledge of pneumatics
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Flexible and adaptable as no two days are ever the same
Excellent prioritisation and time management skills
Effective communicator at all levels
Excellent attention to detail, problem solving and analytical skills
Good IT skills including Word and Excel
