Programme Manager - 2 year FTC

About YouDo you have experience of Programme Management in the delivery of Enterprise Resource Planning systems? Are you a strategic thinker, able to formulate effective delivery plans and make key decisions based on the programme needs as well as managing risk and opportunities accordingly? Are you a great motivator and collaborator, with the ability to develop and support a team to focus on outcomes and deliver to an agreed set of objectives? If so, read on.... We are looking for a delivery focussed programme manager with a background in delivery of digital and business change projects.

Ideally you will come from a digital and enterprise resource planning background.You will understand the importance of risk management at project, programme and portfolio level, and have a good working knowledge of effective governance and controls.You will have good commercial skills with the ability to track and manage programme costs within agreed limits, and anticipate commercial implications of any programme issues that emerge.You'll be focussed on continuous improvement and will drive change to create efficiencies in delivery.You will be a team player, who can influence and improve others.You'll be a great communicator and collaborator, with experience of working across multiple internal and external teams, and with external suppliers and customers. We don’t expect candidates to meet every single desired qualification.

If your experience looks a little different from what we've identified and you think you can bring value to the role, we'd love to learn more about you!About The RoleYou will be responsible for the effective delivery of the Coal Authority’s Business Systems Replacement programme (across HR, finance and procurement systems), including process, technical and cultural change.Working closely with the Programme Sponsor, Business Change Manager and Project Manager.

Managing a significant revenue budget for the project.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring the programme team is in place and effective, that the implementation is successful, and supporting the business to embed the change and realise the benefits.Effectively leading a team of professionals to ensure that the Business Systems Replacement Programme is delivered to time, budget and quality requirements.

Working with resource managers to ensure sufficient resources, capacity, technical skills are available to deliver the Programme and identify the additional skills or development areas, whilst working closely with other Principal and Programme Managers to share lessons learnt across programmes and to drive forward continuous improvement in project and programme delivery. Role location: Hybrid with requirements to be on site in Mansfield at least 2 days per weekFor more information about the role please refer to the attached job description.Schedule:Application closing date: 1st April 2024Sifting date: 2nd April 2024Interviews: Will take place on 9th, 10th and 18th AprilSecurity:Successful candidates must pass basic security checks and will be subject to UK Immigration requirements.About The Coal AuthorityOur benefits:
