Mechanical Technician
Mechanical Technician - Lancashire - Salary £40,000 - £43,000 DOE CBW has a new opportunity for a mechanical engineer to join an established FM company on a permanent basis.
The sucessful candidate willl provide mechanical and building services maintenance to commercial buildings.
This will include fault finding, repairs, maintenance, and installation.
Key Responsibilities: • Perform scheduled inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance, repairs, adjustments, testing, and troubleshooting of assigned mechanical equipment.• Dismantle devices and removes defective parts, test and calibrate systems and equipment to ensure proper system operations using test equipment or precision measuring instruments.• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and Company policies related to building operations and work safety.• Have full knowledge of work areas and follow schedules as required• Daily, weekly, and periodic tasks are carried out as requested• Demonstrate full working knowledge of all relevant equipment and materials• Co-operate with requests from client and managers, giving assistance where necessary• Highlight any facilities-related issues to line management and/or service desk. • To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met. • To evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.• Completes maintenance and repair records as required. Person Specification: • Qualified Mechanical Technician.• Significant experience in providing mechanical building services maintenance to include fault finding, maintenance, installation, and inspection/testing.• Significant previous experience in providing reactive and PPM building services maintenance.• Experience of working within FM or building services within commercial properties.• Communicates effectively & working collaboratively Package:Up to £43,000 DOEOvertime available25 days holiday + BHCompany PensionTools and uniform providedLaptop and mobile phone
