Junior CAD Technician London

Duties of the Junior CAD Technician include:

Develop detailed design drawings and specifications using CAD software
Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and convert conceptual designs into detailed technical drawing
Ensure all CAD designs comply with company standards and relevant industry regulations
Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of drafting standards, engineering practices, and new developments in SolidWorks and other CAD software
Assist in the preparation of documentation, reports, and plans
Generate high quality technical reports, both intercompany and customer facing
Develop and maintain working relationships across the company to allow effective team working

Familiarity with other CAD software and technology
