Accounts Assistant Apprenticeship

This role will be part of the finance team with main responsibility for the purchase ledger function.

Tasks will include:

Processing supplier invoices Matching invoices to their POs Reconciling supplier statements Putting together payments Dealing with supplier queries Store and file paperwork Undertake any other duties reasonably expected of this position

Training:

The applicant will train under First Intuition East Anglia for their Level 3 Assistant Accountant qualification. They will be expected to attend regular in-centre tuition courses throughout a 12-14 month period, which will help develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours in accountancy-related practices. First Intuition Cambridge Ltd has Cambridge, Norwich, Ipswich, Peterborough and Milton Keynes centres. 

Training Outcome:

Further training and CPD. Opportunity to develop their knowledge and understanding of the finance function in the business as they progress.

Employer Description:
AB Texel UK is based in Whittlesey, in the east of England. The company is specialised in transporting potatoes and other bulk agricultural products in the United Kingdom. Transport is mainly carried out with belt bulker trailers and tippers.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm, with day release for college.
