Head of Operations   “Sports and Leisure”Location:                                     South CoastSalary:                                           £75,000 £85,000+ Are you passionate about guest experience and maximising development opportunities? I am working with a great company that combines entertainment, Leisure, Events and F+B.

Within this venue you will find everything from family entertainment and leisure facilities to top quality corporate events.

This role will be responsible for providing strong operational leadership to deliver development and growth to the venue and the team.Role
Develop a growth strategy looking at operational and commercial opportunities in relation to products, services, experiences, and events across the site.

Develop and implement sales strategies pricing strategies and promotional campaigns.Continually seek to promote innovative ways of increasing revenue to maximise profitability.Responsible for meeting and exceeding a multi-million-pound revenue target across multiple events, experiences and F+B,

Highly comfortable managing P&L with demonstrable experience of delivering revenue and margin growth through innovative product development and promotional strategies.Work closely with the Business Analytics and Finance Teams, using data to drive improvements and inform decision making. Ensure continuing short term commercial growth by championing innovation within the onsite teams.Line management of four direct reports, with indirect management of an operational delivery team.

Coach, mentor and support all teams to deliver against targets.Work collaboratively across the venue to maximise internal opportunities, building relationships across all areas.
About You
Extensive experience working in leisure / hospitality or events with a operational focus.Operational business management with a proven track record in business development, business planning, setting financial targets and managing budgets.You will need a very strong operational understand of large scale venues or Attractions, which will contribute to your success within the role.Ability to read data, taking an analytical and decisive approach to business decisions.
