Location: Stanford-le-Hope, Essex

Salary: £35,100 - £37,080 + Excellent Benefits

Full-Time, Monday - Friday (40 hours)

The Client:

Our client is a reputable residential children's home, providing a safe, caring, and nurturing environment for children to grow.

The Role:

As a Deputy Manager, you will promote learning, foster independence, and ensure health and welfare of young people.

Responsibilities:

? Maintain a secure and supportive environment.
? Manage challenging behaviour with empathy and in accordance with policies.
? Develop strong relationships with team members, parents, and professionals.
? Engage young individuals in enriching activities and experiences.
? Implement and update care plans and risk assessments.
? Undertake daily parental responsibilities and support personal development.


Requirements:

? Previously worked as a Deputy Manager or in a similar role.
? At least 1 year of experience working in a residential children home.
? Prior experience as a residential support worker or within the care field.
? NVQ Level 3 in residential childcare or equivalent.
? Understanding of relevant legislation & regulations and OHCH policies & procedures.
? Valid UK driving licence.
? Right to work in the UK.
