Shipping Co-Ordinator
Service Care Solutions are supporting our established client to recruit an experience Shipping Co-Ordinator on a Permanent basis.
Our client are a forward thinking organisation specialising in the development and promotion of innovative and eco-friendly products and solutions.
They specialise across several key industries including Pharma, Chemicals and Food working with an array of exciting commercial clients throughout the globe including the likes of Disney, NHS, Amazon and Nestle.The successful candidate will lead Shipping Office operations, responsible for excellent compliance management and communication across all departments, overseeing inbound and outbound packages for transportation.
Job Purpose: Shipping Co-Ordinator Salary: £28,000-£35,000 per annum + £250 SCS Sign-Up BonusLocation: Liverpool, MerseysideWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 Contract: Full-time | 37.5 HoursKey Responsibilities:
Liaising with Transport service providers on all matters, contract negotiation on pricing, service, loading of deliveries onto online daily shipper portals, dealing with delivery issues, late collections, lost in transit goods, lost goods claim paperwork etc
Producing Manifest paperwork, assimilating paperwork packs to be affixed and go with goods, printing and issuing labels for goods, checking the goods out have correct paperwork with them once made ready for despatch by production operatives
Identifying and complying with any transport of dangerous/hazardous goods requirements, liaising with H&S department regarding this to ensure correct labelling and packaging used
Receiving paperwork for goods inward and allocating batch number labelling, issuing product labels and batch number labels to production operatives
Liaising with the internal Sales Team regarding deliveries and any special pricing items for their customers, also confirmation of deliveries and POD requests etc
Essential
Previous experience within Shipping, Logistics or Transport operations
