Bank Care Assistant

A local premier care home is now looking for a Care Assistant (HCA) with elderly care experience to join their staff bank, which will give you the option to pick up shifts as and when you want.The team at the home – rated “Good” in all areas – works hard to foster a strong sense of community, supporting residents to stay as independent and included as possible.

Residents are encouraged to retain life skills through their hobbies and interests, with a wealth of entertainment options – including day trips, arts, crafts and music, and an array of interesting visitors – to choose from every day.By joining the staff bank, you’ll being ensuring each resident gets the support they need even when there are absences (such as due to illness or annual leave).Specifically, we’re looking for:
Bank Care Assistant - £13.79 per hour.Bank Senior Care Assistant - £15.45 per hour.

Level 3 qualification required.
From assisting with daily living, to spending some quality one-to-one time, to helping with some planned activities, you’ll help each resident to live well in a comfortable and caring place. Person specification:
(Essential) Some previous HCA experience in an elderly care setting.(Essential for Senior position only) Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care.
