Quantity Surveyor

A Quantity Surveyor is required for a reputable principal contractor in the roofing, cladding, curtain wall & glazing sector, based in Portsmouth.Key Responsibilities:

Subcontractor and Client management
Keep Commercial Manager appraised of progress of client and SC accounts

The Candidate:

Verbal and written communication, including ability to listen to determine client needs, communicating them to the construction crew and preparing reports.
Numerical and data analysis skills.
Customer service for client satisfaction.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of engineering science, construction and technology.
Understanding of current building, health and safety regulations.
Computer literacy and confidence using office and electronic project management programs.
Good commercial awareness.
Good attention to detail.
Good time management.

Education and Experience:

Ideally a post graduate qualification in a surveying related subject.
At least three years of experience in a similar role
