Director of Food and Beverage

Job Title: Director of Food and Beverage Salary: €65,000 – €70,000 gross per annum + bonus Location: Amsterdam, NetherlandsAre you an experience F&B director who loves busy environments and numbers?We are looking for a Director of Food and Beverageto be part ofa well established, trendy hotel in Amsterdam.

As the Director of Food and Beverage, you will be responsible for the operations of the Food and Beverage outlets of the hotel to ensure efficiency, profitability and exceptional customer satisfaction.

To be successful in the position, you are excellent with numbers, a motivational leader and know your way around the Dutch market very well.

Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to achieve business objectives, increase revenue, and enhance the overall guest experience.Collaborate with chefs and culinary staff to design innovative and appealing menus that meet the preferences of the target market while considering cost and profitability.Oversee day-to-day operations of all food and beverage outletsPrepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for the food and beverage department.

Monitor expenses, analyse variances, and implement cost-control measures to ensure profitability.Maintain optimal inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies to meet demand while minimizing waste and controlling costs.Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, as well as adherence to health regulations and licensing requirements.

Monitor food and beverage quality to uphold high standards of excellence.
This is you:
Proven experience in the Food and beverage department in a similar roleStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.Knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and inventory management.Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation regulations.Exceptional attention to detailPrevious experience in a fast paced environmentMust be based in the Netherlands already
