About the Job
Worcestershire County Council are looking for a highly skilled Social Worker to join their Adult Front Door team based at County Hall Worcestershire.

The successful candidate will work to support and prevent Early Help and Intervention through to Adult Social Care and will be leading on ensuring robust pathways are introduced and embedded.
Responsibilities

Taking a lead role in safeguarding and effective decision making at the Adult Front Door ensuring the right level of support is identified through a timely strength-based approach.
Providing a consultative role within the team based on developing skill, experience, and expertise and provide day-to-day advice, giving guidance to the Adult Front Door Service ensuring robust decision-making processes take place within best practice guidelines.
Helping guide and develop the team and service by providing relevant social care expertise.

Requirements

A degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
Registration with Social Work England.
Experience of working within a Social Care setting.
Experience of safeguarding and knowledge of relevant legislation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage own workload.
Post qualifying experience
