Childcare Solicitor

A well-established and award-winning firm with several offices across the East Midlands has an opening for a Child Care Solicitor to join their Family team in Leicester.

This role would suit a Solicitor with previous experience from a Family environment looking for the next step in their career.

The role - You will be welcomed into this highly-regarded Child Care team to provide clerical and administrative support to the wider department - Drafting and collating relevant bundles of legal documentation for legal proceedings - Acting as the point of contact for clients via telephone and email enquiries whilst writing letters to clients and the Court - Maintaining any office administration including photocopying, filing and faxing - Complete legal aid forms under the supervision of an experienced fee earner - Instructing counsel and preparing briefs to counsel - Attending court, arranging meeting, taking client instructions and preparing statements for clients
The ideal candidate - In order to be considered for this position, you should be 2+ years PQE - You will be hard working and reliable with strong team working skills - You should have strong client management skills and be able to communicate effectively with clients from varied backgrounds - Working under pressure, you must have strong organisational skills and be able to prioritise to a high level
