Location: Hadleigh, Ipswich

Salary: £14.00 per hour (£30,576 pa) + Excellent Benefits

Job Type: Full-Time, 42 hours per week

The Client:

Our client, a reputable, friendly and supportive company, specialises in providing customised residential support for children and young individuals facing complex needs, and emerging mental health conditions.

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to run a Childrens home in Ipswich.

You must have a Level 3 in Residential Childcare or Health & Social Care with experience of managing staff in a stable home.

Childrens Home Deputy Manager Responsibilities:

This is a varied role and on a day to basis you could be:Coaching and supporting staff members

? Ensuring care delivery is in line with the homes policies and procedures
? Lead and support Safeguarding investigations
? Manage the homes rota
? Lead and support with staff recruitment, selection and retention of staff
? Maintain the homes financial budget
? Work with and care for the children in the home


Requirements:

? Previously worked as a Deputy Manager or in a similar role.
? At least 2 years of experience in childrens residential settings.
? Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare / Health & Social Care or equivalent.
? Supervisory experience and rota planning skills.
? Valid driving licence.
? Right to work in the UK.
