Maintenance Technician

I am currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician for my client in Poole.

For the role of Maintenance Technician you will have a good knowledge and understanding of mechanical/Hydraulic and electrical drawings.

Key tasks and responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician:

- Candidate to have strong electrical bias and be able to electrically test, repair, inspect and fault find wiring and installations 
- Candidate to have knowledge and understanding of the plastic process industry with Hydraulics and pneumatic experience.
- To identify and report on agreed key machine performance indicators on a regular periodical basis, understand and analyse data collated and to incorporate resultant actions into a preventative maintenance program.
- To contribute to the companies continuous improvement initiatives and where appropriate, identify and implement continuous initiatives pertaining to the role.
- To effectively monitor and organise all available resources which have been assigned active duty.
- To ensure maintenance targets are met in compliance with health and safety.

The ideal Candidate will have served a formal apprenticeship within either an electrical/Mechanical or hydraulic qualification 
Experience of hydraulics/pneumatic and PLC work 

This is a Weekend Shift so the hours are Friday to Monday 6am - 16.30pm
