ILS Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ILS Manager to join a globally recognised organisation involved within the exciting technology sector of Rugged and Industrial Computers and Communication Systems, based at their site in Redditch.

Due to continued growth my client in Redditch is seeking a ILS Manager to oversee and manage teams across three sites and develop a strategic roadmap for the company.

Duties of the ILS Manager job include:

Design and implement ILS programmes including AR&M, Supportability Analysis, Through Life Costing, and Obsolescence management
Deliver ILS and Service Support programmes to ensure ILS requirements are delivered on time, to budget, and to the required quality
Perform detailed analytical studies to ensure that the support systems being developed, meet or exceed the specified support requirements, recommending design changes as appropriate
Development and manage Integrated Support Plans and all ILS Element Plans.


Key skills and experience for the ILS Manager job are:

An understanding of ILS or IPS for UK Defence Programmes is essential.
Experience in AR&M Analysis, Supportability Analysis, and Through Life Costing.
Experience of Verification and Validation processes.
Working knowledge of design engineering methods
Current valid UK SC clearance or willingness to become security cleared.
