Apprentice Machinist

Day-to-day tasks: 

Write programs for your own work, during machining operations, wherever practical Plan the setting up and holding of your own work, including making up fixtures as required  Produce a wide range of low-volume or one-off machined parts that satisfy the time, cost, and quality requirements stated in the work instructions Work to tight tolerances and check your own work during production  Maintain accurate records of all work to satisfy company standards and procedures

Training:

This is a Level 3 Machining apprenticeship, delivered over a 30-month period.

The apprentice will attend the training centre, In-Comm Training Services in Aldridge, WS9 8UG, for the first 7 months.



Training Outcome:

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there will be an opportunity to have a full-time position.

Working Hours :
Monday-Friday between 7:30am-3:30pm.
