Primary SEMH Teacher



About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary SEMH Teacher to join our team at a SEMH Primary, located in the vibrant community of Warrington.

As a Primary SEMH Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of young learners who require additional support with their social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging and differentiated lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with SEMH challenges.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes emotional well-being and positive behaviour management.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educational psychologists, social workers, and support staff, to provide holistic support to students.
Regularly assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly, ensuring all learners have equal access to educational opportunities.
Establish strong partnerships with parents and caregivers to promote continuity of care and support both in school and at home.
Actively participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills in supporting students with SEMH needs.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching primary-aged students preferably within a SEMH setting.
A deep understanding of SEMH challenges and evidence-based strategies to support student well-being and academic progress.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
Resilience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of vulnerable young learners.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students and contribute effectively to a collaborative team environment.
