Family Time Worker - WarringtonAre you a passionate, dedicated Family Time Worker looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Family Time Worker to join a team based in Warrington.

You will be required to support children and families to have supervised family time.Umbrella Rate: £17.12 per hour Duration: 18/03/2024 – 3 months initiallyHours: Monday to Friday, between the hours of 09:00 - 19:00, 37 hrs/week – Office basedFamily Time Worker role: Full JD Available
Direct work with children and familiesReview information about the families circumstances to ensure you are aware of the needs, risks, level of supervision and support you need to provideFacilitate and supervise family time between looked after children and their birth families/ carersObserve, monitor and factually record the family time sessionsEnsure the families feel supported to enjoy quality time togetherProvide advice and guidance to parents/ carers if requested to support their care and interactions during the sessionOnly intervene if  necessary to ensure the child’s safetyImmediately report any concerns you may have, following safeguarding protocolsLiaise with other professionals to enable decisions to be made to ensure the child/ young person’s safetyListen to any feedback from the families and share this within team meetingsTransport children to and from some family time sessions where necessaryEnsure rooms are clean and suitable before the session goes aheadBuild strong, trusting working relationshipsAttend meetings, reviews and conferences where necessaryParticipate in training where necessary
Essential Requirements
UK Driving Licence, access to a vehicle, business insuranceLevel 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalentDemonstratable knowledge, skills and 1-2 years’ experience of direct Family Support workExperience of responsibility to ensure Children’s needs are metAbility to plan your own diary and work independentlyYou Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UKEnhanced Child and Adult DBS registered to the update service
