My client is a renowned environmental consultancy firm, committed to providing innovative solutions to environmental challenges.
Their team of growing and experienced professionals works collaboratively to deliver impactful projects across various sectors, with a focus on flood risk and drainage strategies.
The Role - Assistant Environmental Consultant
- Support the production of technical reports
- Undertake site walkovers and survey works
- Prepare consultations with the water regulators
- Liaise with client stakeholders / attend meetings under the supervision of senior
staff
- Manage time and budgets under guidance from the line manager
Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Assistant Environmental Consultant
- Relevant degree and desire to gain accreditation with a professional body through experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (i.e.
report writing)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to listen, follow instructions, and review technical work and processes.
Keen
to learn, retain and apply technical information, review their own work, and be
confident to ask for support when needed
- Ability to review and familiarise yourself with flood risk/drainage policy and guidance
documents
- Good IT Skills and ability to learn new software
- Being familiar with GIS/CAD software is desirable
The Package - Assistant Environmental Consultant
- Starting salary up to £27,000 per annum but can depend on experience
- 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays - annual leave increases by one day for
every three years of service
