Security Engineer

Security Engineers (Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control) - M&E / FM Service Provider - London & M25 - Up to £45,000   Exciting opportunity to work for an M&E / FM Service Provider situated in London.

We are currently recruiting for a Mobile Security Engineer based in London & M25.

The ideal candidate will be required to repair, install and maintain Access Control, Fire Alarm's, Intruder Alarms & CCTV equipment around London, Essex and Kent ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with the ‘Health and Safety at Work Act’ and to Industry Standard.

In return the company is offering a competitive salary paying £45,000 based on experience.

  Hours of workMonday to Friday - 08:30am to 17:00pmCall Out - 1 in 3 Key duties & responsibilitiesService and install a range of Door Entry, Warden Call, Automatic Door / Gate systems, CCTV systems (including IP/Networked), and Intruder AlarmsCarry out Planned Preventative Maintenance to the above systemsTo ensure that all aspects of Access Control/CCTV works including test and inspectionsEnsure compliance checks are carried out in accordance with current British StandardsTo report on a daily basis to supervisor/manager on the status of all works within the department and advise in good time, problems of time-scale or resourcesAny other duties as reasonably requestedRequirementsHave a background in social housing/commercial and local authority maintenanceHave a valid CSCS card (Not essential) Preferably have experience with at least one or more of the following manufacturers: ISM, GDX, ENTROTEC, SML, PAC, KMS, RECRD, GEZEHave good communications skillsBe self-motivatedBe willing to learnBe able to work individually and as part of a teamPackage Salary - £45,000Call out standby allowance of £10020 Days Holiday + Bank HolidaysCompany Van Company Phone   Essential Qualifications/SkillsIntruder Alarms / CCTV / Access Controls / Fire Alarms Full UK driving licenceAn accreditation with ADSA, CAMEsafe, Tynetec or CAI (High desirable)
