Do you have a desire to learn, analyse faults and improve performance?We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer (Generators) for our client as one of their current staff is retiring.

They have about 12 employees who all work together to ensure customer satisfaction.The Role:The position is for a Field Service Engineer (Generators), preferably electrically biased.

You’ll work at customers’ sites, based in the UK, but mainly in the London area, carrying out routine service work as well as repairs and project installation work.Experience and Attributes required for the Field Service Engineer (Generators):• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Power Generation Industry.• Ability to work on industrial diesel engines.• Experience working with Generator control systems.• Ideally electrical knowledge including Commissioning, Load Testing and/or Fault Finding • Great customer service skills • Must be flexible with working hours, weekend working will be required.• After Training you will be required to attend call outs on a rota basis 1 week in 4.• Full UK driving license.The position offers the opportunity to become part of a friendly, close-knit team.Standard working hours are 37.5 per week.Overtime is paid at 'time and half' weekday evenings after 18.00 hrs.
