Demand Planner

Role: Demand Planner Salary: £40,000 Location: Gainsborough Type: Permanent Overview 2fawcett are recruiting for a Demand Planner, to join a manufacturing business based in Gainsborough on a permanent basis.

This role will be responsible for the planning of sales demand and order bank management across the business.

Role & responsibilities of the Demand Planner • Identification and progression of planning strategies and other continuous improvement activities to improve customer service performance • Lead key weekly apparel planning meetings • Issue relevant, timely and clear communication updates to sales team and internal departments • On approval of the seasonal product line, manage the order bank and execute the seasonal timeline • Management and effective delivery of the seasonal launch plans • Work in collaboration with the Purchasing and Customer Services teams to provide unit forecasts to the 3PL warehouse and customisation houses • Ensure adequate resources and availability of future production capacity • Analysing and reporting on service performance trends and KPIs, order management and returns • Planning and delivery of the agreed end-of-season apparel exit product strategy • Develop and manage relationships with external customisation houses, focusing on planning, service and quality and helping to deliver future growth
Skills and Experience • Previous experience in a planning management role essential • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and ideally Power BI • Strategic and commercially minded, with the ability to identify problems, ideas and solutions • Highly organised and able to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Desire for continuous improvement • Able to travel independently to key suppliers Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday
