Costs Consultant

We are working with a prestigious law firm that is looking for Costs Consultants to join their Costs Business team.

This team provides high-quality costs services to a range of clients, including insurers, corporates, public sector bodies and individuals.
 
As a Costs Consultant, you will be responsible for drafting bills of costs, budgets, schedules, points of dispute and replies, as well as negotiating settlements and attending detailed assessments.

You will also liaise with clients, fee earners and opponents throughout the costs process.

You will need to have excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills, as well as a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
 
To be considered for this role, you will need to have at least two years of experience as a Costs Consultant, preferably in both claimant and defendant matters.

You will also need to have a good knowledge of the CPR, costs case law and practice directions.

You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and you will be committed to delivering high standards of client service.
