Senior Practitioner
I'm looking for an experienced children's social worker to join Staffordshire County Council in the Children with Disabilities Service.

The team covers Cannock & Lichfield and is a well established offering for young people with a variety of different disabilities.

You will be joining an established team consisting of 7 Social Workers, 2 Family Practitioners and 2 Business Support Officers.
Key Responsibilities

Statutory home visits


School visits


Completing/updating assessments


Attending MDTs


Chairing Meetings


Working with children under CP, CIN and Children in Care


Multi-agency working with partner agencies


Multi-disciplinary working with other professionals


Presenting to Resource Panel


Updating children's plans


Qualifications and Skills:

Qualified Social Worker with relevant degree or equivalent qualification
Registered with Social Work England
Experience working with vulnerable children
Ability to work independently and within a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Full enhanced DBS
