Location: East Malling, Kent

Salary: £19,500 - £25,500 (DOE) + Excellent Benefits

Working Hours: 42.5 hours

The Client:

Our client is a well-established construction consulting group, providing advanced solutions for diverse projects.

The Role:

As a Design Technician, you will help in the preparation and maintenance of pertinent technical information.

Responsibilities:

* Creating drawings in AutoCAD format, including revisions to existing drawings.
* Managing the uploading, downloading, filing, and printing of documentation to ensure that all stored data is current.
* Coordinating with manufacturers, suppliers, and consultants to gather support information, facilitating the progression of client projects on site.
* Compiling all design documentation for presentation to the client.
* Maintaining and updating checklists and drawing logs.
* Revising existing drawings as needed.


Requirements:

Essential:

* Previously worked as a Design Technician or in a similar role.
* At least 1 year of experience in CAD and Microsoft Office.
* Skilled in utilising design software.
* Good attention to detail.
* Valid driving licence.
* Right to work in the UK.


Desirable:

* Previous experience in design for a construction company.
* Possess degree level qualification.
* Ability to collaborate with diverse professional backgrounds.
* Willingness to travel when required.
