Occupational Hygienist
An opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Hygienist / Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Consultant to join an independent environmental consultancy known for providing expert air quality and dust monitoring services across the UK. As an Occupational Hygienist, you will be supporting air quality and occupational hygiene assessments across a range of UK-based client sites. This full-time role offers a salary range of £25,000 - £35,000 and benefits. You will be responsible for: * Conducting workplace exposure monitoring for dust, fibres, gases, VOCs, and similar pollutants. * Preparing clear, detailed reports based on site monitoring findings. * Assisting with client enquiries, proposals, and quotations. * Contributing to business development opportunities and ongoing client engagement. * Participating in occasional noise exposure assessments and LEV testing. * Supporting other areas of environmental work when required, including equipment servicing and occasional lab support. * Travelling to sites across the UK with regular desk-based work at the Oxfordshire office. What we are looking for: * Previously worked as an Occupational Hygienist, Air Quality Consultant, Health and Safety Advisor, Health and Safety Consultant, Occupational Hygiene Technician, HSE Officer, Health and Safety Advisor, HSE Advisor, QHSE Advisor, QHSE Officer, or in a similar role. * Possess 1-2 years of experience in occupational or industrial hygiene monitoring, particularly in air and noise exposure. * Familiarity with IAQ standards and guidance (e.g., BREEAM) * Educated to A-level standard or equivalent, ideally holds a relevant degree such as Environmental Science or Occupational Hygiene. * LEV testing experience BOHS membership would be beneficial. * Valid Uk driving license. * Right to work in the UK.
