Salary:                Up to £60,000 + Bonus

Are you a passionate hospitality leader with a flair for creativity and a love for all things lifestyle, food, and design? We're looking for a Deputy General Manager to join the leadership team at one of Islington’s most stylish hotels.

As Deputy General Manager, you’ll work closely with the General Manager to lead day-to-day operations, inspire a high-performing team, and ensure the guest experience is seamless, memorable, and consistently on-brand. You’ll be hands-on, visible, and a true culture ambassador, leading from the front in a space that blends charm with urban energy.

Responsibilities

Supporting the GM in all aspects of hotel operations, including F&B, rooms, and front officeDriving service standards and brand values across departmentsLeading, mentoring, and motivating a young, dynamic teamOverseeing operational efficiency and cost controlsBeing guest-facing and visible at peak service times—setting the tone for excellence

Requirements

Previous experience as a Deputy GM or Operations Manager in a lifestyle or branded hotelA passion for people, hospitality, and cultureOperational know-how with a strong rooms and guest experience focusEnergetic, approachable, and solutions-focused leadership styleA natural eye for detail and a genuine love for the guest journey
