Equine Groom Apprenticeship - Stud Yard

In this role, you will be responsible for all general yard duties, including (but not limited to);

Leading and handling foals, young stock, broodmares and stallions Feeding Mucking out Keeping yard clean/ tidy Assisting with vet and farrier

Training:

You will be working towards the Level 2 Equine Groom - Breeding pathway apprenticeship, so please be aware you are aplying for a non-riding position.

All training is provided at the employer's premises, with the employer and supported by Haddon Training. Haddon Training will also support any candidates who need to gain passes in maths and/ or English.



Training Outcome:

For the right candidate, there is the opportunity for progression to the Level 3 Senior Equine Groom apprenticeship or the possibility of full-time employment.

Working Hours :
Working 40 hours per week 7am - 4pm, over 5 days and will include every other weekend.
