A contractor specialising in architectural metalwork is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team on a permanent basis in Essex.

Salary: £45,000 – £60,000
Start Date: ASAP
Work Arrangement: Full-time, permanent

Key Responsibilities
• Preparing accurate cost estimates and take-offs for architectural metalwork packages
• Reviewing technical drawings and specifications using Excel and Bluebeam
• Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing information
• Supporting the pre-construction team with budget planning and tender submissions

Requirements
• Previous estimating experience within the construction or metalwork sector
• Proficient with Excel and Bluebeam
• Ability to interpret architectural and fabrication drawings
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Projects
• Estimating packages valued up to £4 million.
