Painting and Decorating Apprentice

Assist with surface preparation including sanding, filling, and priming Learn and apply various painting techniques (brush, roller, and spray) Support wallpapering, varnishing, and other decorative finishes Maintain tools and equipment in good working order Follow health and safety procedures on-site Keep workspaces clean and organised Work as part of a team on residential and commercial projects

Training:

This programme is delivered via a day release delivery model, which means that one day per week, your attendance is required at our Construction Campus (NG17). This attendance is required during term time only.

You will work with expert assessors and tutors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession.

You will experience a blended learning model.

Training Outcome:

Full-time employment upon successfully completing the apprenticeship.

Mon to Thurs 8am- 4.30pm. Fri 8am-3.30pm.
