Family Solicitor

I am working with a well established law firm based in York who are looking for a Private Family Lawyer to join their busy team.

This is a full time role reporting to the Head of Department/Directors.

Candidate requirements:

- 3-5 PQE
- Experience in Private Law Children
- Experience Divorce/Dissolution
- Experience in Financial Remedy (Ancillary Relief)
- Experience in Nuptial, separation and cohabitation.

Key Responsibilities:

- To assist the directors in implementing the firm’s vision and strategy for the firm as a whole.
- Ensuring that the management of files and working practices within Family are in accordance with the Firm’s published Policies, Plans and Procedures and in line with individual Departmental Guidelines.
- Ensure services are provided in a timely fashion and the client is informed regularly on progress and costs.
- Comply with internal procedures and systems of the firm including file and case management, file audits, client due diligence and time recording.

- Managerial, leadership and supervision skills
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Ability to develop good relationships and work effectively
- Establishes effective relationships with colleagues, clients and external advisors and stakeholders.
