Mechanical Fitter – £40,000 – Panama Shifts – Suffolk

We’re currently recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter to join a well-established FMCG manufacturing company. If you’re someone who takes pride in your work, thrives under pressure, and enjoys working in a busy environment, this is the right opportunity for you.

This role suits either a fully qualified Mechanical Fitter or someone still building their experience. More than anything, it’s your mindset, reliability, and mechanical know-how that will set you apart.

What the job involves:

Carrying out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across the site

Supporting small-scale projects and plant improvements

Working closely with production to maintain flow and uptime

Contributing to safety, quality, and operational performance

What we’re looking for:

Mechanically skilled

Confident working independently and within a team

Experience in food, FMCG, or other fast-moving environments is ideal

Comfortable working Panama shifts

Proactive, hands-on, and dependable
