APPRENTICE EARLY YEARS EDUCATOR LEVEL 3

Working alongside a team of early years educators (teaching assistants) in a maintained nursery school Delivering the curriculum within the school to children aged 2-4 years, and within the baby room setting for children under 2 years Ensuring children are safe and their needs are being met, through following care routines and following our educational philosophy

Training:

Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:

Professional development delivered by LCC school advisers, opportunities for reflective teaching, peer observations, one to one mentor support and training linked to our school improvement plan Safeguarding training and supervisions will be provided as well as First Aid

Training Outcome:
Depending on the financial situation and needs of the school at the time, there may be opportunties for a permanent position. Career support will be offered

Taywood Nursery School has served families of Burnley for over 90 years and is a Local Authority maintained Nursery School; with a Headteacher, a qualified Teacher and highly skilled Early Years Practitioners with qualifications Level 3 and above in Early Years Education. We also offer children opportunities to learn in our beautiful Forest School hosted by a qualified Forest School Practitioner.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, Shifts to confirmed.
