Apprentice Painter & Decorator

To carry out general painting and decorating tasks within domestic and commercial premises.

The successful candidate will gain their learning in domestic, period properties delivering mid to high end interior and exterior decorating services including wallpapering.

Some of the techniques you will learn will include:

Masking and protecting surfaces prior to painting Preparing surfaces Applying various paint coverings using brush and roller Hanging wall coverings You will be expected to ensure all jobs are left clean and tidy and you will develop your communication skills so you can always deliver excellent customer service to a wide variety of clients

Training:
Training to be provided by MK College as a day release

Training Outcome:
On successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will be offered a full-time position as a qualified painter and decorator with Dorchester Living

Dorchester Regeneration is searching for their next apprentice to join their team at their development at Heyford Park, Bicester, Oxfordshire which is a former US and RAF airbase which they are transforming into a modern take on the traditional countryside village. Dorchester Regeneration have over two decades of experience in the property sector and operate individual projects through a network of more than 20 independently owned or joint-venture subsidiary companies. Across the business we employ over 100 people and we have a wide range of in-house expertise covering finance, planning, procurement, strategic infrastructure, civil engineering, housebuilding, commercial lettings, property management, community infrastructure management, ecology and sales & marketing. As well as building new homes for sale, we also build for social and private rent and currently have over 500 units in our rental portfolio, overseen by our own dedicated management company.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, Shifts to be confirmed.
