Teaching Assistant Level 3/Advanced Apprenticeship
Our new Apprentice Teaching Assistant will have a varied and rewarding role supporting staff in providing our children with engaging learning experiences, enjoyable lunch and play times and fun wrap around care.
Duties will include:
Supporting the class teacher in the classroom to deliver high quality learning Delivering intervention ‘catch-up’ sessions to individuals and small groups of children Leading play activities during the lunchtime break Supporting the breakfast club/after-school club leader in providing fun and creative out of school provision Build effective relationships with pupils, staff, and families Encourage and manage positive behaviour in the classroom Help support children’s intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development Assist in planning and preparing learning activities and classroom resources Work with small groups and support children with SEND Safeguard pupils by following school policies and procedures Assist on school trips and educational visitsTraining:

This apprenticeship is delivered in the workplace, there is no attendance at college. However, you will be given around 6 hours per week off the job training to complete your apprenticeship work once you have been fully enrolled.
Training Outcome:
There is a potential opportunity for ongoing employment within the school following successful completion of the apprenticeship as a qualified Teaching Assistant.
Previous apprentices have used this qualification as a first step towards qualifying as a teacher.

Monday - Friday 11:30am - 6:00pm or 7:30am - 2:00pm
