Apprentice Joiner

You will be required to start with helping out and picking up key skills with our experienced joiners You will be required to get into work at 8am and leave at 5pm every day except college Lifts depending on where you live may come available You must be willing to work in a team and be willing to ask plenty questions to help you learn Showing that you are keen and willing to learn is a key part of being a great apprentice The skills will soon follow if you are keen

Responsibilities will include the following:

Help with assembling and fitting components Clean up work areas and dispose of waste materials properly Shadow experienced joiners to gain hands-on experience Maintain and organize tools and materials Follow health and safety regulations on-site and in workshops Clean up work areas and dispose of waste materials properly Shadow experienced joiners to gain hands-on experience

Training:
Training will take place at Kendal college, one day per week Apprenticeship standard Carpentry and Joinery
Level 2

Training Outcome:

Once you have completed your apprenticeshipm, a full time job will become available, as long as you are meeting the correct milestones



Employer Description:
We are a family run business since 1947, I am the 3rd generation and looking to employ an apprentice.

Working Hours :
Monday-Friday 8.00am-5.00pm. Exact shifts TBC.
