Apprentice Bricklayer Level 2

General labouring duties associated with the job. Use a range of tools, brick cutting machines, trowl , spirit levels , plumb lines. Understanding and managing the quantities of materials used in order to complete the job. Understanding how to calculate the measurements required for build areas. Refurbishing decorative stone work. Laying bricks , how to apply and remove grout. Strengthening foundations and sealing. Repairing building blocks and chimneys.

Training:
Training will take place at North Warwickshire and South Leicester College at the Harrowbrook Campus in Hinckley. Training is delivered via block release (5 days) , this takes place week 5 in a 6 week learning period.

Training Outcome:
Fully qualified at level 2 Potential for employment upon completion on the apprenticeship

Working Hours :
Monday, 7.30am - 4.30pm. Tuesday,7.30am - 4.30pm. Wednesday, 7.30am - 4.30pm. Thursday, 7.30am - 4.30pm. Friday, 7.30am - 4.30pm. You may be required to work on a Saturday.
