Early Years Apprentice

Supporting children's learning and development. Engaging children in fun and educational activities. Ensuring a safe and stimulating environment. Observing and recording children's progress. Assisting with daily routines such as meals, nap times, and outdoor play. Working closely with a team of experienced childcare professionals. Minimum of 6 hours per week spent on apprenticeship work and training.

Training:

Working towards your Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Qualification, you'll attend monthly 1-2-1 meetings (online via teams every month - NO classroom OR college!) with your tutor and learn about modules including child development from birth to 7 years, safeguarding, promoting wellbeing, supporting activities, purposeful play & educational programmes, and more!

Training Outcome:

As with any apprenticeship opportunity - if you prove yourself to be a valuable member of the team there is a strong chance of a permanent post within the business.

The Syston Day Nursery offers a homely, calm and stimulating environment for the children to learn and develop. The classrooms are bright, spacious and include a wide variety of resources and equipment which are developmentally appropriate, offering the opportunity for play and exploration. Their professional staff team are experienced, fully trained and qualified to look after children from 6 weeks up to 5 years in a nurturing, happy and fun environment.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, shifts between 8.00am and 6.00pm.
