Are you passionate about recycling and the environment? Keen to help make a real difference through driving behavioural change across our councils?

The successful candidate will be an integral part of our mission to improve waste and meet our ambition to reach 60% recycling, developing new initiatives to make Broadland and South Norfolk brighter, cleaner and healthier places to live.

In addition to managing the existing Recycling Officers, you will develop and deliver new and existing services across our communities.

You will support community groups and residents to develop new initiatives either directly or with our partners using a variety of communication methods to educate and inform on effective recycling.

We are looking to recruit someone with proven communication, supervisory and project management skills.

What you'll be doing...

? Day to day and performance management of the Recycling and Partnership Officer team


? Responsible for leading the development, implementation, monitoring and review of the council's recycling strategy and action plans, in conjunction with senior officers
? Lead the development of recycling services and initiatives that; increase performance, deliver efficiencies and generate income.
? To lead, coordinate and support the development of projects and policies to improve the quantity and quality of recycling across the district.
