Location: Manchester

Salary: £47,400 + Excellent Benefits

Full - Time, Permanent, Monday - Thursday, 6pm - 6am

The Client:

Our client is a well-established organisation in the automotive industry, offering an extensive range of municipal trucks, specialty vehicles for hire and provide contract hire options.

The Role:

As a Shift Controller, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team, managing workload allocation, overseeing nightly operations in the workshop, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

? Possess 1 year of experience working as a Shift Controller or in a similar role.
? HGV Technical qualification (NVQ or City & Guilds equivalent).
? Profound technical knowledge and understanding of DVSA requirements.
? Experience in auditing and quality control of vehicle repairs.
? Familiarity with Health and Safety and risk assessment procedures.
? Skilled in chassis and body diagnostics.
? Experience in the waste / recycling industry.

(Desirable)
? HGV licence.
