Role Overview: Part of a highly successful Europe-wide group with a turnover in excess of £400m, H2eCommerce, based in Cheshire, operates market-leading online retailers Cartridge People and Cartridge Shop.

The company has recently diversified into the supply of 3D products with the brand 123-3D.

This vacancy sits within the Marketing Team which is made up of 11 experienced and creative professionals.
We are recruiting an Email Marketing Executive to join our dynamic Marketing team on a fixed-term basis, to cover a period of maternity leave.

We have a smooth-running and efficient email system in place and we are looking for an experienced individual to maintain and look after this function for a fixed term of approximately 15 months.
Ideal start date for this role would be 24 January 2024.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:• Provide the best possible customer journey and brand experience.

Champion a customer-centric approach to planning and activity.• Plan and coordinate the delivery of weekly marketing emails to support trading messaging.

Ensure each communication is engaging, targeted, contextual and delivered to the correct audience at the right time.• Manage, develop and optimise the email channel.

Development of data segments and A/B testing.• Work inter-departmentally with the wider Company to create highly effective emails.• Brief creative teams and work closely with the Marketing Campaign Manager to ensure a standardised approach.• Ensure all content and copy created is in line with brand strategy and guidelines, fitting with wider campaigns.

All emails proofed, tested, signed off and delivered.• Manage and develop the trigger and automated campaigns.• Monitor and report on the performance of emails.

Make recommendations and changes to optimise performance.• Manage and develop the email platform, Maxemail.• Manage budget and invoicing in relation to email campaigns.• Internal communication of campaigns• Support the Marketing Team, as and when required.

Deputise for the Marketing Campaign Manager.
Skills Required:• A minimum of two years experience in a similar role.

• Understanding of audience segmentation and list management.• Proficient in Excel.

• The ability to spot trends from data analysis; experience reporting on retention metrics including LTV analysis and understanding what is driving change.• Proven experience working within marketing automation/email tools.• The ability to plan in advance with a high level of flexibility, adapting to change to improve email performance is crucial.

• Confident in leading and executing strategies, ability to work to deadlines.

• Excellent communicator and team player.

• Strong commercial and customer focus, experience in e-commerce is desirable but not essential.

• Hands-on experience with HTML is desirable but not essential.
