Make Ready Operative - Ambulance Service

Make Ready Operative – Ambulance Opportunity available for a Make Ready Operative to work within the Ambulance team , Based in Hemel Hempstead The team sits within the ambulance Team with the role predominantly preparing ambulances for operational duty to an agreed quality standard for the benefits of our patients and staff.

This will include cleaning, decontaminating, stocking, vehicle roadworthiness checks and safety/functional checks of onboard equipment (medical and non-medical).

As part of this role you will monitor the electronic equipment tracking system (RFID) to identify both the compliance of equipment on operational vehicles and any short falls of equipment/consumables and maintain the serviceability of emergency ambulances, equipment, and consumables.

You will act autonomously to ensure the continuation of Make Ready Services within the area of responsibility to maximise the availability of our ambulances to deliver patient care.

It is essential you have a C1 License The role will involve working a shift rota that includes night and weekendsThe annual Salary for this role is: £22, 816 The Benefits of working with Service Care Solutions:
