Apprentice Engineer
Support engineering activities by reading and interpreting technical drawings, and presenting findings within the team
Assist the Test House by setting up, conducting, and overseeing tests once trained
Support the Refurb Department with repairs and maintenance tasks
Support the Quality team by inspecting and measuring parts using hand tools such as verniers, callipers, gauges, and micrometres
Help review parts against drawings and contribute to ideas for improvement where possible
Assist with quality investigations, including 8D reports and related analysis
Support SAP production tasks for both Quality and Engineering departments
Collaborate across departments such as Manufacturing, Refurbishment, Production, and Engineering to support daily operations
Take part in mechanical and electrical engineering activities as required
Assist with calibration, testing, and maintaining Quality Management System (QMS) compliance
Conduct Health and Safety inspections onsite and maintain accurate records
Promote and maintain Health and Safety awareness in the workplace
Contribute to cross-functional meetings involving Health and Safety, Quality, and Engineering teams
Receive internal training on all aspects of the role to support skill development and progression

Working Hours :
Monday - Thursday, 09:00 - 17:00 and Friday, 09:00 - 16:00. Weekend and Bank Holidays work is not expected.
