Level 2 Bricklaying Apprentice
As a Bricklaying Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of experienced bricklayers to learn and develop your skills on active construction sites.
Your duties will include:
Assisting with the preparation and laying of bricks, blocks, and other materials Mixing mortar and ensuring materials are ready for use Measuring and cutting materials to size using hand and power tools Learning to read and interpret construction drawings and plans Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Supporting the team with general site duties and manual labour Gaining knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices This hands-on role will give you the opportunity to build a strong foundation in the trade while working towards a recognised qualificationTraining:
Bricklayer Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard:
The apprentice will combine on-the-job experience with structured learning by attending Northampton College one day per week The remaining four days will be spent gaining hands-on experience on-site, working alongside skilled tradespeople and contributing to live building projectsTraining Outcome:
Potential for a full time position once the apprenticeship is complete
