CNC Machinist

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer in their search for a CNC Machinist to work in their leading facility in Halesowen.

Our client is hiring for 2 Machinists - 1 CNC Programmer (Miller) & 1 CNC Programmer (Turning) but it would be highly advantageous if you have Programmed/worked on both Milling & Turning machinery.

For the successful CNC Machinist our client is offering:

Hourly rate of between - £15 - £20 per hour - This completely depends on experience / Programming level.7am-4:45pm Monday to ThursdayPermanent positionFree ParkingOvertime opportunities are available

The role - CNC Machinist:

Programming, Setting & Operating CNC Milling / Turning machinesSetting of tools and fixtures, making required adjustments to offsets on all CNC machines.Develop and write programs for CNC Machines using CAD and Fusion softwareCNC Machining prototypes or production batch workMachining of a variety of materialsLook after the day to day maintenance of the CNC machining centresKeep work area and C.N.C clean, tidy and safe at all timesOnline & Offline programmingWorking to different tolerancesWorking from engineering drawingsPerform routine maintenance of machinery/equipmentMachining own JIGS and fixtures

What our client is looking for in a CNC Machinist;

Experienced with Fanuc and Heidenhain controlsExperience machining various materialsExperience working with 3 & 5 Axis machineryMethodical approach to workAble to work on a variety of projects Our client is ideally looking for someone who can do both Milling & Turning
