Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprentice
You’ll gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment, working alongside expert teachers and teaching assistants who will guide and mentor you throughout your apprenticeship journey.
Role Responsibilities:
Support pupils’ learning under the direction of a class teacher. Build effective relationships with pupils, staff, and families. Encourage and manage positive behaviour in the classroom. Help support children’s intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development. Assist in planning and preparing learning activities and classroom resources. Work with small groups and support children with SEND. Safeguard pupils by following school policies and procedures. Assist on school trips and educational visits. Stay up to date with professional best practice. Intimate care. First Aid (Appropriate training will be provided). Behaviour management (Appropriate training will be provided). Working with children with SEN and high-level needs (Appropriate training will be provided). Administering medicine (Appropriate training will be provided).Training:

End point assessment as part of the programme - further details in the link above. Functional Skills Level 2 in English and maths if not exempt. The training and qualifications are based in the workplace, no attendance at college required.
Training Outcome:
Possible permanent position on completion of the apprenticeship.

Monday - Thursday, 8.00am - 4.15pm. Friday, 7.45am - 3.30pm. Term time only
