If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents in Maidenhead.Job Description: As a Housing Support Worker in Maidenhead, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of 10-12 residents, ensuring their well-being and successful housing.

Your role will involve working on a rota system between 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM from Monday to Friday.

You will engage in person-centered support, develop safety plans, and collaborate with other agencies involved in client care, such as probation resettlement plans.

In addition to ensuring residents' safety and support, you will play a critical role in maximizing rent collection, managing rent arrears, and assisting with tenancy agreements and benefits.Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of 10-12 residents, ensuring their well-being and housing stability.
Develop and deliver person-centered support and safety plans in collaboration with clients.
Work within a rota system, offering support between 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM from Monday to Friday.
Collaborate with other agencies to complement client support plans, such as probation resettlement plans.
Maximize rent collection and assist with housing and welfare benefit claims.
Take proactive measures to minimize rent arrears and maintain accounts.
Monitor resident accounts and record all actions, taking appropriate steps when arrears exceed tolerance levels.
Provide assistance with tenancy agreements and benefits.
Engage in regular team meetings to discuss and reflect on complex cases.
Travel for training, team meetings, and visits as required.
Manage and support residents from your home office between visits.

Qualifications and Skills:

Car driver is essential for home visits and travel.
Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance is mandatory.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Compassion and empathy for residents' well-being.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience in a similar housing support role or caseload management is advantageous.
