A day in the life of a Murphy HR & Training Administrator - Apprentice
Service Centre Support
Act as a first point of contact (with guidance) for employee queries via email, phone or in person Support the administration of employee lifecycle processes (e.g., starters, leavers, contractual changes). Support the administration of all employees' training and development processes. Monitor and respond to requests in the Service Centre Mailbox, escalating as appropriateAdministration
Learn to maintain accurate and confidential records using the People Management System/Learning Management System Assist in inputting and updating employee data, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Support in producing documentation such as contracts, letters and onboarding materials Support the planning and coordination of training and maintain accurate training records/competencies Assist in the preparation of any requests for audit evidence and provide the information in a timely manner Assist with raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and other basic finance-related tasks Aid in the preparation of reports or management information when requiredLearning and Development
Participate in training sessions and job shadowing to build knowledge of processes and best practices Undertake professional development in line with the apprenticeship programme Attend team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement discussionsCompliance and Confidentiality
Maintain strict confidentiality in handling employee information in accordance with data protection regulations Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times Team Support Collaborate with colleagues to ensure service excellence and continuity Support ongoing projects and initiatives within the Shared Service CentreTraining Outcome:

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, office based 8:00am-4:30pm or 9:00-5:30pm.
