Location: Wetherby, West Yorkshire

Salary: Up to £39,500 + Excellent Benefits

Permanent, Full Time, Monday - Friday, 39 hours per week

The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Electrician to join their team.

You will perform mechanical maintenance like cylinder replacements, belt changes, and ensure equipment and services are safeguarded through planned preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities:

? Address electrical and minor mechanical breakdowns promptly.
? Contribute electrical expertise to in-house installations, including PLC wiring.
? Conduct equipment fault finding and diagnostics.
? Assist external contractors in machinery setup.
? Implement machinery modifications while adhering to safety protocols.
? Manage procurement and utilisation of electrical parts.
? Fabricate new parts using milling and lathe operations.
? Initiate purchase requisitions for necessary parts.
? Utilise manufacturer's maintenance manuals for effective troubleshooting.


Requirements:

? Previous experience working as an Electrician or in a similar role.
? NVQ Level 3 certification.
? Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship completion.
? City & Guilds certification in Electrical Engineering
? Experience in electrical fault finding and diagnostics, such as locating circuit breaks.
? Proficiency in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) operation.
? Understanding of machinery functionality.
? Familiarity with Electricity at Work Regulations.
? Certification in IEE Wiring regulations.
? Knowledge of safe working at heights systems.
? Understanding of Pneumatic Systems.
? Ability to work outdoors and at elevated height
